Ice
It's 90 degrees outside
The ceiling fans whirl in the kitchen
And the air con works overtime
But here in this room it's freezing cold
Hell has frozen over
Each time I touch you,
You pull away
I walk away to leave you alone
You call me back into the room
When I need you
You're not there
When I ignore you
That's when you want me around
Each time I want to kiss you
You push me away
When I give you my heart
You hand it back to me
If I tell you I love you
You don't want to hear it
It just might complicate your life
A little too much
It's 90 degrees outside
The ceiling fans whirl in the kitchen
And the air con works overtime
But here in this room it's freezing cold
Hell has frozen over
Each time I touch you,
You pull away
I walk away to leave you alone
You call me back into the room
When I need you
You're not there
When I ignore you
That's when you want me around
Each time I want to kiss you
You push me away
When I give you my heart
You hand it back to me
If I tell you I love you
You don't want to hear it
It just might complicate your life
A little too much
