Sisters, a Christmas Wish (Shakespearean sonnet) revision

Im caught within the hedges winding trail
and turning points refuse to let me go;
the maze constricts, I feel my courage fail-
my heart is skipping beats on this hard row.
Ive gone around in circles many weeks,
locked up inside a clinging, whispering place.
The breeze that reaches in, now softly speaks,
its voice a rustle through the faded lace.
A photograph in amber hues, still shows
the pair of us in warmer days, long gone.
Enclosed within my heart the spark still glows,
I see two sisters, one has since withdrawn..
I wish to build a bridge across this rift,
to leave the maze behind and fates to shift.

Im caught within the hedges winding trail
and turning points refuse to let me go;
the maze constricts, I feel my courage fail-
my heart is missing beats on every throe.
Ive gone around in circles these past weeks,
locked up inside this clinging, whispering place.
The breeze that reaches in, now softly speaks,
its voice a rustle through the faded lace.
A photograph in sepia hues, still shows
the pair of us in happier days that were;
enclosed within my heart the spark still glows-
I see two sisters through a misty blur.
I wish to build a bridge across this rift,
to leave the maze behind- for clouds to lift.
