Youre daddys little girl, he always sang,
And in my heart I knew that that was true,
Not only was I his only daughter,
But I was stuck between my brothers too.
His memory lives on in all of us,
And though he has been gone for many years,
There isnt any time that song is played,
That I dont feel my eyes well up with tears.
And as another Fathers day comes round,
Thoughts of him are uppermost in my mind,
And Ill say a special prayer tomorrow
For my Dad who was truly one of a kind!
