As golden orb sang to the blue-eyed sky,
so too, its warmth of touch sang to the shore.
The ocean twinkled as we heard it cry,
so beautiful, its tears, we called for more.
As innocence ran barefoot cross the sand,
their laughter was the song wed prayed to hear.
And love, the gift that fell from heart to hand,
was gently placed, so freely, without fear.
Their castles ever challenging the tide,
in ever growing magic, fore their eyes.
With feathers, shells, no treasure could but hide,
as tiny fingers searched to find their prize.
Each smiling face so proud of treasures found,
toes sift the sand til sun falls to the ground
